Our Lady of The Angels 2024 Event Calendar

OLA 2024 Calendar of our social and spiritual events now available - keep it somewhere handy. We have some new events added this year as well as familiar favourites. For some events, we have specific causes (like the Food Bank). All other funds raised from this year’s events will be split between: 1. The Church Repair Fund (for new guttering and re-wiring - both essential to keep our church safe and sound) 2. Bexley Young Carers. These are children who provide care for a family member with an illness, disability, mental health issue, or addiction. Bexley Young Carers help these children to access the support they need. Did you know that children as young as 5 are in a caring role, 27% of those aged 11-15 miss school and 67% are worried about their future? The money raised will enable these children to have some respite from these challenges and enjoy activities such as a weekend summer camps - giving them the rare gift of just being a child.
