Sacrament of Confirmation


Applications for confirmation programme 2024 has now been closed

At Baptism, we begin a life-long journey and a way of life. At Confirmation, the graces received in Baptism are sealed with the reception of the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. . The words that Jesus shared with his disciples at Pentecost apply to each one of us at Confirmation, you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses (Acts 1:8).

In our parish, the Sacrament of Confirmation is typically received by children, who are aged between 13-15 and are baptised. the preparation programme usually begins in January. if you would like to join the programme please keep an eye on the news letter for the starting dates and the process of registration.

Confirmation Programme 2024 Overview

Please add the following dates to your calendar. Candidates are expected to attend all sessions.

Parents are expected to attend the initial meeting and the rehearsal.

All sessions will take place at 4.45pm on Sundays. Sessions will be for approx. one hour.
